Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

So I've been making these 'wings' for about a year, and every time is different to find the right combination. But now I think I've found it!


1 head of cauliflower

1/2 cup cornmeal

1 cup of soy milk

1tbs. of vinegar

1 cup of panko

1tsp. garlic powder

add herbs of choice....oregano, thyme, paprika.....

2 tbs. of butter

1/4-1/2 tsp of liquid smoke

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 bottle of Redhot

accoutrements for serving;

vegan blue cheese, celery, and carrots


preheat oven to 425

have 3 bowls to cover and dunk the cauliflower in

1 (cornmeal), 2 (soy milk and vinegar), 3 (panko/herbs)

line a cookie sheet with parchment paper

To make:

cut-up cauliflower into chunks

wash and cover with the cornmeal in the first bowl

add soy milk and vinegar into the 2nd bowl

dunk the cornmealed cauliflower into the milk

add panko and garlic power and herbs into third bowl

put your covered cauliflower onto the cookie sheet

Cook for 15-20 minutes at 425

While that is baking....prepare the hot sauce

melt the butter and add liquid smoke and Redhot together

pull out the cauliflower and pour the mixture over

sprinkle with smoked paprika

Bake again for 15-20 minutes.

Pull out of the oven and serve with vegan blue cheese, celery, and carrots.
