I started using the phrase vegan is good karma a couple years ago. I don't know exactly where it came from, but to me it makes perfect sense. Think about what you know about karma*click for the link*. At its basic level it's the idea of good vs. bad. If you believe in the concept of good and evil (I think everyone does!), then creating harm for any kind of being does not make sense! Eating an animal that has bad karma (because it was frightened, sick and or hurt, then killed) makes no sense to put that into my body. Why would I ingest something that had bad karma, when I want good karma! Hence the name vegan is good karma.

The purpose of this site is to encourage veganism through personal reflections, but also to give options for what to make, wines to drink, and just being out and about around Louisville.
